it's important that farmers use best
management practices
across the whole of their farm and in
particular it's important when they're
using crop protection products

development of the rem dry system which
you see behind you a very simple and
effective tool for farmers to manage
waste on their farms

several studies on different prototype
versions so you can see
here around ram dry is featured by
a tank for collecting effluent with an
octagonal shape
is made of stainless steel and is
equipped with a transparent cover
also air inlets all around
the perimeter of the tank allows the
wind
to come inside the system and promote
evaporation
of the liquid fraction so that at the
end of the season
only the dry sediment is collected
um on the internal liner the capacity of
the tank is
2 000 and five hundred liters
ram drive features a cleaning platform
removable and foldable
made of pvc membrane where the
farmer can clean his spraying equipment
and this cleaning platform is very easy
to use
and flexible to use for the farm
besides the great benefits of the
raindry tank
also the mobile cleaning platform offers
many benefits
in that the total investment a grower
will make
will be so much lower than when
constructing
a concrete platform but also there is no
need for any permanent use of farmland
the platform is available in two sizes
useful for accommodating the cleaning of
different sprayer types
the small size of six by six meters
can be used for the cleaning of mounted
or trailed orchard sprayers
and arbor filled boom sprayers with boom
length
up to 12 meters the large size
of 6 by 12 meters is available for the
cleaning
of arable filled boom sprayers with boom
length
higher than 12 meters
we know that point source contamination
is important and that's why we've
invested in the ram dry system
to protect surface water in a practical
cost effective and simple manner
