The Raru00E1muri or Tarahumara are a Native American people of northwestern Mexico who are renowned for their long-distance running ability. In their language, the term raru00E1muri refers specifically to the men, women are referred to as muku00ED (individually) and as omugu00ED or igu00F3male (collectively).
Always Further On (Spanish: Tarahumara (Cada vez mu00E1s lejos)) is a 1965 Mexican drama film directed by Luis Alcoriza. It won the FIPRESCI Prize at the 1965 Cannes Film Festival. The film was also selected as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 38th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.
