There's a cat who's walking around the cafe
As if she's done this before, she opens the door casually and walks in
Cafe owner: Phew~ What am I going to do with you. Seriously
Cafe owner: She came by like ten days ago, and stays like that
PD: So, that means, you have no idea about her? / Cafe owner: Yeah, I have zero acquaintance with her. She's not with us.
About ten days ago, the cat has been coming and going to this cafe as though she owns this place
Not only she trespasses,
but also she walks over customers' tables, not to mention playing all over the cafe
Cafe owner: Ey what are you doing here?
Eventually, the cafe owner walks up and kicks out the cat

Cafe owner: Go home, alright? Go back to your home~
After she got kicked out, she seems to be leaving the cafe
but shortly, she's coming back to the shop again

The lady's been chosen by the cat, and that makes her worries deepen day by day
Cafe owner: Don't know what to do with her.
Say we're letting her go, she won't go anyways
Say we're keeping her, some of our customers don't feel comfortable with her
But as you know, we can't kick her out if she finds comfort from my place, isn't it?
A few days later
We dropped in the place again
Within a few days of time, she's got a name called, 'Recto'

Recto's making unusual behavior unlike the other times
Looking nervous, Recto's seeking for an isolated spot
Perhaps, she's due in no time..
The lady urgently got prepared with what's needed for Recto's labor ward
About an hour passed
Cafe owner: What's that? Her water broke, isn't it?
The time has come
Cafe owner: She's going in there, guess the babies are due
Recto's walking into the room herself
Cafe owner: The babies are coming, my god~
As expected, she's in labor pain
Recto's gasping heavily due to the pain lasted for over an hour
Watching Recto in such pain makes the lady's heart go ache
At that moment, Recto pushes for the last time
Such an intense moment!
Cafe owner: Huh? Oh? / (Kitten's whimpering)
Baby kitten takes her breath out to this world for the first time in her life
Cafe owner's husband: Woah~ That gave me creeps / Owner: Recto~ congrats you've become a mother

After a few moments, the pain began once again
As if Rector knows what's in the lady's heart, she plucks up the courage one last time
That's how she safely delivered birth, enduring nine-hour long labor pain
Cafe owner: Four of them. Four in total
For Recto, who's become a mother before herself, she prepares seaweed soup to help her revive her spirit
Cafe owner: I'm pregnant myself, I should be at ease but like I'm serving this lady now (laughs) Hope she knows tho
As soon as the seaweed soup arrives, Recto's gulping down on it
Thanks to the lady's warmful care provided, Recto and her kittens have gone to sleep in such comfort
Vet: There isn't a case like hers, it's not something that we see everywhere. A cat who's never wary like this one..
The vet checks on their health first thing
Two boys and two girls, all are born healthy and well
Their mother, Recto's in a good shape as well, considering she's been living on the streets
Vet: She should have been raised indoors for a year at least.
For some reason, she'd got pregnant, but couldn't find anywhere to give birth safely.. That's probably why she came outside..
Particularly edgy cats often get a volatile change in hormones, which might cause an unpredictable behavior pattern
Some of them have an instinct to hide the kittens away, hence they run away from home while they're pregnant
Perhaps, Recto's another pregnant cat runaway
Just in case there's anyone who'd know Recto's real owner who's looking for her, we began to ask around the neighborhood
Neighbor: Gave her a tuna can once, but she didn't have it much
Yet we found one who remembers Recto
Neighbor: She eats around here, comes and goes PD: Oh did she?
He felt sorry for her, wandering about the neighborhood, so he made a space inside the shop just for Recto
Neighbor: She probably couldn't come any closer, since there're some other cats around
Sadly, we weren't able to find Recto's home and her real owner
But the one thing that's certain is,
She had her reasons for choosing the lady, the owner of the cafe
Vet: Though she's been raised by a human, generally they give birth in a place where no other beings can know or see. Only to somewhere, she feels safe.
So that leads to the reason; she might have either felt desperate or loved the place,
She must have had a feeling, that the lady would help her no matter what, that's why she chose to fall back on
Recto took the challenge to find somewhere safe, warm, and suitable to give birth
It's only been a fortnight since she met the lady for the first time at the cafe which she happened to come by
She identified Recto with herself and couldn't help but to take her in, and offered a blanket and some food
As if the heart of the lady touched Recto's
She was able to give birth to healthy four kitten siblings safely
Hence, the owner prepared a house just for Recto and her kittens
Recto looking relaxed
Cafe owner: She must like it
In the arms of her new family, the only thing left for Recto is to raise these babies safe and sound
Cafe owner: It's not a common thing to see a pregnant cat coming by my place and giving birth, it's such a fate..
I'll take good care of these babies until they're all grown up well and healthy
