now we're in the weight room, also a huge location.
So many treadmills, so many exercise bikes. Unbelievable.
It's not so packed in the morning here, but during noon there's not a single free treadmill, believe me.
And that's not all, friends. There's more.
Here's something for the weightlifting friends. It's the dream of every sports freak
And here you can see the city of Tokyo, or rather a part of Tokyo.
So that's it for now from the Olympic village. I have to go back to the German house real quick
because I have to do a covid spit test. We have to submit these every morning at 8 am and it's now nearly 8 am so I have to go back real quick.
On the way back I can show you the German house or rather the apartments where the German athletes are staying.
Here's the Brazilian house, and on the left the German house.
Well it's not an official German house because we share the building with other nations, like Austria and Belgium.
Now we're here at the German house. There's a, as i call it, chilling area outside where you can talk to the others or just sit there in the evening
I have to say every nation has something typical for them and we have paletts.
The Brazilians for example have hammocks which is kinda typical maybe.
And this right here is something really cool, it's called the Olympic tree
If you comment a post on the Instagram page of the TeamD Tokyo Tree
then it's gonna be printed and falls down and it's mostly for congratulations and stuff.
It's a bit much to read everything right now, maybe there are also some wishes for me but I don't know
Now on to the next.
I already showed you what drinks are offered and sometimes there are these vending machines that you can't open and just grab something.
You rather have a chip - this one -, then select your drink - Coke, Powerade, Water and other things -, press the button and hold your chip here and now you can take your water from here.
We're going to our apartment now and do the covid spit test
I'm on my way to submit the covid spit samples right now. They're disgusting. The things you do so the Olympic games can run smoothly...
[So finally we are in our rooms. This room is made for 4 people. And as you can see the walls are made of paper or something like that.
Here on the right side we have a small toilet. For Japanese people it's really normal to have small rooms, so this is kind of big here.
And yes, this is my room. The beds are also made of paper (cardboard) as you can see here. It's really paper.
And yes, here you can see the Olympic village. It's a nice view to see for example here the flag of Italia and there's the cantine where a lot of athletes are going right now
It's really impressive that these buildings were made only for the Olympic games here in Tokyo]
